Jason Gibbs For Secretary Of State
Every once in a while, a political candidate comes along who is different, and whose differences attract. Jason Gibbs, a candidate for Vermont Secretary of State, is that different. He is the former commissioner of the Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation. Before that, he was a six-year communications director for Gov. Jim Douglas’ administration.
Gibbs is a refreshing oddity in Vermont politics. He believes in cutting costs, saving money, and efficiency. He cut his own department’s staffs and expenses, and he actually made money for the state through entrepeneurialism.
